just awesome
By lee August 21, 2020well what can i say about this car.. bloody good, forget the Tamiya dt02 kits my sons friend bought one of them and its erm. poo everything on that car was plastic!! and i mean everything! for the price of this one just buy this you will not be disappointed at all.
performance with the lipo setup is great you just need to do one other upgrade as we found out after a few hours driving, get yourself a pair of universal front driveshafts from Nitrotek part no. H02106 as the cups that the dogbones go into start chewing them up. Oh one other optional upgrade I would do is change the plastic Hex adapters for the wheels to metal ones, as the plastic ones if over tightened get squashed and makes the wheels stick, metal ones but up better to the bearing and makes for a lot smoother running. Apart from that buy loads more batteries as you will love it, Very well built car with good quality parts way outdoing other build your own kits. My son who is 13 loves it and glad we bought this model for the drifting thing, I might now have to buy one!! and i`m fussy!!
