There have also been some other changes to the standard HSP truck such as fitting it with a bigger .18 engine, waterproof electronics and changing the standard stick controller for a new wheel type. Just hard to break inCracking truck with amence acelaration. The fuel runs out pretty quick but not a problem due to how fast it is. The fuel is expected to run out so quick as its so nippy! If on a budget. This truck is decently for you!Posted on

Nice Monster Truck for the PriceOverall, this is a nice Monster Truck. Like most nitros it does have its quirks however.
- The Team Infinity engine is not the easiest to start and tune. It will require a bit of patience to get it running right. Persevere and you will be rewarded :-)
- The pull-start is a bit weak. Coupled with the tight Team Infinity engine, you may find (like me) that the pull-start breaks trying to start it. Losen the glow plug very slightly if it is hard to pull. Tighten it again when the engine starts. Once the engine has ran a few tanks of fuel this stops being a problem.
- The fuel tube is very close to the spur gear. This will cause the spur gear to slice through the tubing. This will cause the engine not to start or cut out instantly due to insufficient fuel flow. I redcommend that you re-route the fuel tubing to keep it away from the spur gear.
- The sterring servo saver tends to work loose on mine after running on rough ground for a while. This causes the steering to stop working. This is easy to sort by just tightening it up again. Some loctite on the screws should stop this becoming a problem.
- Always check every screw before you take the truck out for a run. They will work loose from engine vibrations. Loctite will help stop screws working loose. This is a common problem with all nitros however.
Other than this the truck is very nice and stands up to some heavy crashes from 4ft jumps. Overall I am very pleased with this truck.Posted on

What a BeastTook over an hour to get started, but, after finally breaking it in, had a go and it's a flying machine, very fast.
Had nitro cars for last ten years and this is newest of 6 rc cars now (including HPI MT-2, Kyosho Pureten GP Fazer, Kyosho Pureten Alpha.) and i think this is def the best looking and by far the fastest.
Great value for money and looks the biz.
Only downsides are the fuel tubing (to the carb) is VERY close to the main gear and the pull-start is too near the brake/throttle linkage.
Minor things, but, otherwise highly recommended.
