good but...
By emma August 29, 2014i need help iv just got this car Tuesday its good fun but it taking me and my boyfriend ages to start our fingers where bleeding pulling the start that many times i no it has to be run in but surely it wouldn't take half an hour to start it up

By Scott July 20, 2014I was very excited when i got this car and I found it easy to run it on my first time took me a few attempts to start it tho, I'm already looking to get a bigger scale but wanted to experience on a smaller scale first.

By jamez 94 January 15, 2014this car is absolutely fantastic and is very fast. i have had no problems wiv this little beuty. i hav run my in and litually it took 2 pulls of the pullstart and it fired away. such a gr8 truggy. very fast when you tune it aswell :) one thing though. this car isn't a strong little thing. but gr8. would recomend u buy it.

By gary6277 December 19, 2013This is my first nitro car, very excited when i got i was like a big kid.
I had trouble starting but with help of internet etc i got it started i know cant stop touching it as i am doing the running in process first tank before i can drive it. Once i have done the first tanks i will be away.
The only bit i had trouble with was getting the aerial into the tube .good

By nick July 31, 2013I've had one for a couple of years now, and a while back upgraded to an 1/5th petrol model. today got this going again while waiting for parts for the 1/5th, and after a an hour or so cleaning it up with mr musle to get rid of all the old castor oil, it started after a couple of pulls. Quite a study little car, and only had to buy a new pull start as i down through a deep puddle and flooded the engine with water, then like a fool, tried to start it resulting in a wreck putstart. Would recommend it to anyone as is so small and quick, and can put to shame larger models.

By christian June 15, 2013bought this truggy about 8 months ago a little fragile but as i break things i replace with upgrades. i have fitted with an aliminum exaust had it tuned properly and im putting in 25% nitro feul and there arnt many of my friends cars what can keep up. i am replacing the gear box with a 2 speed cannot wait!!!!! nitrotek are very helpful thanks

By jonny-vee February 01, 2012A little knowledge of starting nitro engines and of rc cars is essential- or some help from experienced users - once set up it goes like stink!
First time used stripped servo gear teeth- servo saver too tight to protect servo- now sorted. Exhaust gasket blew causing running probs by not pressurising fuel tank. Brake pads soon softened and disintegrated- maybe due to contamination by fuel or WD40?
BUT... it's a fantastic bit of kit and well worth the money...Needs regular maintenance as all high performance vehicles do.

Also this truck is very strong once upgraded fully like mine because mistakes are going to happen and there are going to be a few crashes, so you don't want it to reck your day
Fantastic but...
By jamez 94 July 07, 2011this is such a good truggy for the money. its soo fast... i have clocked mine flat out about 30 mph! which is fast for an engine the size of this one. its so much smaller than i thought when i first opened it. great truggy but very fragile. i drove it into my foot by accident really slowly and it stripped the thread on the upper suspension arm! definately suggest the aluminum upgrades. plus the need metal gear diffs

By blu August 09, 2010wicked little truggy,got it going quite easily for a first timer,took it out with my mate whos got a savage and id say it was quicker(he dosent agree,but then his cost about £250 quid more,so he wouldnt)..anyway good price for good fun

By Squigkat June 08, 2010This is my first nitro car and I would recommend this model for anyone who is starting out with nitro cars. Yes it is a little fragile, so either avoid crashing into solid objects like walls and concrete posts, or get the upgrade parts pack, which is excellent value for money. Now upgraded it has been fairly robust, i have lost count of the number of cart wheels it has done im my back garden and survived intact.
Just orderded a two speed gearbox as I broke the shaft on the original box, I can't wait to see how much quicker it will be when fitted, considering how fast the single gearbox was anyway!!

By a superb car April 06, 2010I bought this car for what i thought was a bargain price which was correct, it took me aroung 2 hours to break in the engine completely with the cost of 2 glow plugs (not expensive to replace) and now the engine runs superbly. The only problem is it is not good at taking crashes head on, i accendently did this and bent the front of the metal cover plate at the base of the car and had to replace it but the good thing is parts are relativly cheap. i would recommend this car for all lol lol lol

By VERY GOOD April 06, 2010brought this car a year ago starting to mess around with it now ive modded mine should show pics soon. The starting of the car takes quite long but if you heat the engin ewith a hair dryer for like 2 - 6 minutes its a fast start. Only thing i had to buy a extra pull start as my old one broke and now a new bearing as i pulled too hard and one metal part inside the bearing came out. Overall Good!

Just take off the air-filter , shut the carburettor with one finger, pull one time and then the engine will start easily.

By nitro car April 06, 2010i got this car for christmas i would recommend u to buy one beautiful car and affordable it has a few running problems but i have been told that all petrol/nitro cars have a few running probs but u can take to a specialist of the rc cars a nd they will sort it out!!!!

By NB16T April 06, 2010Really good buy, i have tuned the engine to optimal performance and its going very fast now.
It makes a brilliant noise and the smoke that comes out the exaust is very authentic. This is not just a begginers car, it is good for experianced drivers as well.
Its an amazing piece of kit, its so much fun. Whats really good about Nitro Models like these is that you can drive it for hours at a time!
If you are a begginer and buying this model i would suggest you take a quick look at Nitrotek's advice on how to start a Nitro engine e.t.c.
A really useful tip to starting up your car is to:
1. Warm up the engine with a hairdryer.
2. Turn on the controllers electrics an the cars batteries.
3. Get fuel to the engine, my method is to put one finger over the exaust and pull the pull start til you see fuel go up the tube into the engine. You don't want too much fuel int the engine or it will get flooded.
4. Put the glow start into the glow plug (the coloured cylinder above the engine) and pull the pull start. Because the engine is warm from the hairdryer this should only take a couple of times. If it doesn't start try opening the throttle a little bit.

By truggy April 06, 2010took me good couple hours to get it goin had probs charging glo start,but done what nitro sayd in there help section to se if the glo had enough power, it did then bingo fired up three times, then got it to run,but to damn late at night to burn rubber need to wait till morro,.

i was buying an nb16(buggy) but before nitrotek sent the model they rang me to say that they were now out of stock on the buggy would i mind the NB16T(truggy) as an alturnative. Even tho the truggy is more expensive there was no extra charge.

Pretty Good
By Bear March 10, 2010This is a great little car and is very fast and an amazing piece of kit but it is not very strong and mine had interference with radio frequencies so it crashed but a good car when it works.
