Starmax have worked their usual wonders in the finish and design of this foam structured plane. The fuselage is both strong and extremely light, designed to withstand the occasional crash landing. It is complete with a detailed paint job, and factory affixed decals to complete the realistic look of your F-117 Stealthfighter.

However, not only does it look fantastic, it is an amazing aerobatic aircraft, and capable of incredible speed. This model of this infamous jet fighter has got a 70mm ducted fan and automatic landing gear. The power that this plane packs allows it to perform a full aerobatic display: inside loops, outside loops, axial rolls, inverted flight, knife edge, stall turns, hammerheads, and spins are all possible. If you're really good you will be able to perform the famous 'Cobra Manoeuvre' with this Nighthawk.

This Starmax jet is also equipped with a powerful brushless motor, for the best performance. The plane is made from strong but lightweight foam that is more resistant to crashes and gives easier stable flight even in windy conditions. This aeroplane can take off from the ground or can be hand launched This plane is 80% assembled so some final finishes are needed, but almost all you need to get his jet of the ground is in the box, apart from 8 AA batteries, Li-Po battery balance charger and AC/DC adapter.

The Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk is a stealth ground attack aircraft formerly operated by the United States Air force. The F-117A's first flight was in 1981, and it achieved initial operating capability status in October 1983. The F-117 was a 'black' project, an ultra-secret program for much of its life, until the late 1980's. The F-117 is shaped to deflect radar signals and is about the size of an F-15 Eagle. The single-seat Nighthawk is powered by two non-after burning General Electric F404 turbofan engines, and has quadruple-redundant fly-by-wire flight controls. It shares many components with the F-16 Fighting Falcon, F/A-18 Hornet and F-15E StrikeEagle. Among the penalties for stealth are lower engine power thrust, due to losses in the inlet and outlet, a very low wing aspect ratio, and a high sweep angle (50°) needed to deflect incoming radar waves to the sides. With these design considerations and no afterburner, the F-117 is limited to subsonic speeds.
