Details

If you are ready to move up from a co-axial helicopter or wanting to learn how to fly a proper single blade helicopter then we have this perfect model for you. It has all the important features of a top of the range helicopter including built in gyro, metal construction and 2.4Ghz radio gear, but at an amazingly low price. Our latest 4 Channel single-blade RC helicopter has a durable alloy construction and strong anti-wind ability thanks to the built in gyro that automatically stabilizes the helicopter if there is a gust of wind or it is knocked.

This remote controlled helicopter comes with a long range 4 channel 2.4GHz radio set.

The main advantages of 2.4GHz sets are:

  • Improved reliability due to less interference at this frequency range
  • Quicker more responsive control
  • Lower power consumption
  • Many models can be used together at once without need for checking frequencies and crystals etc

With flight safety at it's core, the helicopter's main rotor blades have been engineered with automatic power-off protection, so when the blades hit obstacles or become stuck the system powers down helping to prevent your electronics and motor from burning out. The single propeller provides good stability while providing more flexible, rapid movement than a co-axial structure. Although more difficult to master than a co-axial heli, once you get the hang of it they are much more fun and exciting to fly. The helicopter comes with a nifty electronic balanced charger set to protect the battery from incorrect charging by electronically detecting when the batteries are full and then automatically cutting the power

The full 4Ch system means you have full control of the helicopter's movement. Not only can you go up/down, forward/backward and rotate left/right, but also you can bank left and right like a real helicopter.

I bought this helicopter because it was the cheapest 4 channel I could find, for the money its very good and makes a good 1st trainer.

Build quality is good and so far I have crashed it so many times and so far its bent some metal supports for the tail and skids but nothing that can be repaired at no cost.

It needs a lot of trimming and check the swash plate is level before first flight, it does mention this in the manual.

It comes with a spare set of blades and a tail rotor which was a nice surprise one other feature is a button that makes the heli slower to control.

All in all its by far the cheapest good size 4 channel hell you can find and with a bit more adjusting will make a good flyer! (Posted on 14/10/2014)
