Had this car for christmas and im really impresed with the peformance. Charge time over 7hrs and run time approx 15 mins so have upgraded the battery and charger. Found an excellent charger for £12.00 and hunted around for a 3700 battery. Now I charge my better battery in 3 hours and run for 30plus minutes. Had the car running through mud, wet grass and various bits of twigs etc and its kept on going. It can even go up the curb from a stnading start next to it. Overall a fantastic car for a fantastic price. Looking forward to upgrading the engine and maybe a few other bits... (Posted on 06/01/2012)

I bought this car for my 6 year old son and he loves it!! Its quick and the power can be scaled back to match his skill level. Its well built, well priced and dealing with Nitrotek is first class.
My only minor criticisms are that the instructions are poorly translated and do not give enough information. Also make sure you get a fast battery charger as charging time is 6-8 hours for 10-15mins play time with the battery supplied. (Posted on 01/01/2012)

have been run one for a year or so. got the stock brushed, good for a starter, over time have upgraded some bits gone brushless, 4500mah battery, 10mm rear dogbones(i tend to be heavy handed and i had a set in the spares box)
light, easy to work on, lots of parts and upgrades. great for xmas out of the box (Posted on 06/12/2011)

If you are looking for a fun and fast model to drive this is the one. The XSTR is very fun to drive but hard to handle. If you are looking for a longer run time i would get a higher standard battery pack.

this is a good fast rc buggy and good for the price but the battry life isent verry good and on my first run out the esc broke off and now i cant turn right i am thining of getting a brushless one but not shure if u can have it without brusshles motor but al in all good and good fun (Posted on 27/07/2011)
