German Site Is Now Live!

Nitrotek are pleased to announce the launch of www.Nitrotek.de. This site will cater to the German market and bring the same great value products to the German model world.

Nitrotek now has sites in the UK, France, Netherlands, Poland and Germany and will be opening a Czech site soon!

New Product - 1/8th Brushless Rc Buggy

Tony wins 1/5th race at Gotnitro VII with his XRC2

Nitrotek team member Tony took 1st place for the 1/5th round at this years GOTNITRO VII event in May, beating all the more expensive HPI Baja's and FG models with his XRC 2. Well done Tony!

New brushless electric models are sooo quick!

Just in are some new brushless models. They go 40mph+ out of the box thanks to the brushless motor and 11.1v lipo battery. The same models but re-branded are being sold for almost £200 on other sites! We are going to shoot some videos and upload them to the site soon so you can see the speed. You can also upload your videos through the product page!

Used and reduced page updated

We had not updated the used and reduced page for ages so they have built up. We have just updated it now so there are loads of great bargains on there now. We also have some brand new end of line fibreglass nitro and electric boats which are not on there yet so if you are looking for a top of the range fibreglass boat give us a call on 01625 610031 and we can tell you what we have in stock at the time.

UPDATE ON XRC 1/5TH DELIVERY DATE

We have just received an update on the next delivery of XRC petrol models. It should be delivered to our warehouse on Thursday 30th August.

Reduced items page has just been updated

We've been naughty and not updated our list of reduced items for ages so they've built up a little. This means that there is now a much bigger list than usual so loads of fantastic savings and offers to be had. There are some amazing prices on there as the busy season is fast approaching so we have priced to clear as we want to get them sold before we get really busy.

SUPER STRONG BOMBER PLANE NOW IN

If you are looking to get into the fun world of radio controlled aeroplanes but with a model that still looks good then this is the best choice. Most entry level planes do not actually look like realistic planes which takes some of the enjoyment out of the experience, but with this little plane you get the best of both worlds. It is still super tough and very hard to break at an entry level price but looks like a little bomber plane.

4CH APACHE HELICOPTER JUST ADDED TO THE NITROTEK RANGE

This little helicopter looks amazing and is very easy to fly. There are now a lot of twin blade helicopters on the market but none look as good as the Apache. Twin blade helicopters can been flown by anyone with minimum practice and are a great way to get into the hobby.

MICRO HELICOPTER JUST ARRIVED

This palm sized indoor helicopter is only 18cm long it is the smallest heli on the market. The helicopters come on three different bands and three different colours (red, yellow and green) allowing three to be used at the same time.

These micro heli's are a lot of fun and so easy to to use.

AMAZING FLYING BOAT NOW IN

Flying boats are great fun and a great challenge. As a boat they are very quick and easy to control but to fully master flying them takes a lot of practice, perfect for those who enjoy taking the time to master a hobby. The boats can even run on grass that makes them one of the most practical and satisfying models on the market.

We have a new edition to our fastly growing range of products the VRX-1 Nitro Truggy.

This 1:8th Nitro Truggy is an absolute Beast- check out the video on the product page to see it in action.

The VRX-1 is bursting with features it has a massize .28 engine, thick aluminium parts, polished aluminium pipe and 3 piece racing clutch, the features just go on and on. This model is truly amazing there is simply no other product on the market with the same specs or features that even comes close and on top of that it looks very, very nice.

Electric Cars Back In Stock

We have had a new delivery of electric radio controlled cars so the Max 4 buggy is now back in stock and also the yellow Bonzers.

Nitro models back in stock

The Conquistador and Condor Pro nitro cars are now back on the site. We expect stock to sell quickly this close to Christmas so if buying as a Chrsitmas present we'd advise not leaving it till the last minute.

We have added some new items to the reduced items page and will be adding lots more in the next couple of weeks. This is a great place to pick up some real bargains.

Just added is this great ex demo bonzer that has never been used outdoors. A real bargain at only £69!!

Loads of new models added to site

After many late nights we've finally finished getting our new range of products onto the site. There are to many to list here but there are new radio controlled planes, helicopters, bb tanks, nitro boats, electric boats and a range of rc toys and gadgets. We've got a good range of products with most items having both an entry level version and advanced version.

We've tried to use lots of photos and also videos where possible so you can see the models first.

We have a few more nitro products coming in a couple of months in time for Christmas but more news on that later.

Honey Bee Helicopter Parts Delivery

We have just had a delivery of Esky Honey Bee helicopter parts so all helicopter parts are now in stock.

NB16 mini nitro hop-ups added

The rest of the NB16 hop-ups are now in stock and on the site including diffs with full metal cogs, aluminium servos savers and lots more.

Parts and model update

We have lots of stock and new products coming in this month:

1. NB16 pull starts should be here on around June 19th
2. The rest of the NB16 hop ups should be here around June 20th
3. Any NB16 or Acme 1/10th scale nitro car parts that are out of stock should also be here around June 20th

Latest news from the NitroTek team

On Friday 02/06/06, NitroTek phone lines will be closed and all email queries will not be answered until the weekend. If you are wishing to place an order, you can still do this on-line as the site will continue as normal.

The phone lines will be up and running again on Monday morning.

Glow plugs & Manifolds back in stock.

Team Infinity glow plugs have just come back into stock and also the aluminium manifolds for 1/10th scale cars.

The upgraded aluminium pipes for the mini nitro NB16 sold out today. They only came in last week! We should have more around Mid June.

The 2 speed gearboxes for the NB16 mini nitro radio controlled buggy are now back in stock and available here.

Last time they sold out in a couple of days so if you want one best to order soon.

New Item Added - Team Infinity Hex Wrench

High quality 1.5 mm hex wrench from Team Infinity. Features a carbon handle and extremely tough tip. If you find your allen keys just wear your grub screws down then a good quality hex wrench can save a lot of bother and they don't come any better quality than this.

Upgraded Conquistador

Brushless motors

Some brushless motors for radio controlled cars have been added to the reduced items page at http://www.nitrotek.co.uk/reduced.php. We only have a few of each so if you want a bargain brushless motor get one now before they sell out.

Run over NB16!

This unfortunate NB16 was run over by a truck! We were quite surprised how well it took it considering what happened to it. Racing on roads is not a good idea!

Stock delivery

The new stock has now arrived.

We'll put the Acme 1/10th parts that were out of stock back on the site now.

The NB16 hop-ups look great! Unfortunately a few of them did not arrive :-( but most of the important ones did. The aluminium shocks did not arrive which is bad news but as soon as we have a delivery date I'll post it on here.

We're going to go and shoot the photos of the hop-ups now and then will hopefully have them on the site very late tonight or tomorrow. Stock is quite limited on this first delivery as when we ordered them we had no idea what the demand was going to be like so get them quick to avoid dissapointment.

Quick note - The Team Infinity aluminium manifolds for the 1/10th nitro that sold out should be back in stock in around 2 - 3 weeks.

Acme parts that were out of stock

Apologies to everyone that was waiting for some of the Acme 1/10th nitro parts that were out of stock. The good news is that the parts are arriving on Wednesday and will go back on the site on Wednesday evening.

New Web Site Design

Some of you may have noticed that we have given the site a re-vamp by changing the layout and adding loads of new sections including a much bigger help section. This is in preperation for all the new products we have coming in around mid June but more about that later!

We'd love to hear your comments on the new design, such as whether you like it or if you prefer the old design, or maybe there's something else you would like to see on the site. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

NB16 Hop Ups

Great news, the NB16 hop-ups will be here on Wednesday the 3rd May. We'll have to take all the photos of all the parts which we'll do on Wednesday evening and then we can get them on the site either late on Wednesday evening or Thursday evening if we run out of time. Prices on the upgrades are from £2.99 to £13.99.
