Product Description
Accipiter Badius is the latin name of a species of raptor, a bird of prey known for its fast maneuvering ability, and this naming should give a clue as to the capabilities of this plane. You can tell by looking at it, that it has been designed with aerobatics in mind!
Nitrotek have specified this plane with the 35Hz controller and brushed motor options, making it an affordable entry level outfit, ideal for someone with some flying experience wanting to buy their first aerobatic plane. Additionally the Accipiter Badius is almost ready to fly straight from the box with all its electronic components pre-installed at the factory. Within a few minutes of opening the box, you can have this plane powering across the sky.
The controller gives the plane a good 500m range and you can enjoy around fifteen minutes flying from one charge of the battery.
This plane is described as RTF or ready to fly, this means that everything except batteries for the transmitter is included in the box and that only a few minor stages of assembly remain, such as attaching the wings and tailplane. These steps should take around 30 minutes to complete.
