This plane is designed for those who have some R/C skill and are ready to move up to something a little more responsive and higher performance. The 4 channel control is quick and precise and gives your model a wide array of maneuvers to fly. Soon you'll be strafing a park or flying field near you.

As park flyers go, the Ready to Fly Zero Warbird is by far one of the most scale RTF subjects we've seen. Its moulded foam parts come out of the box painted in authentic green and gray colours. The included black plastic cowl sports moulded machine gun ports. Even the clear plastic canopy is provided with adhesive strips to recreate the canopy lines. The decals that are provided are authentic as well, once built, this plane looks like the real thing.

For a park flyer, the plane is very nimble thanks to ailerons on the wings and the 370C motor. It’s top speed is a tad brisk for indoor flight but ideal for aerobatics in the park. We're talking loops from straight and level (inside or out), barrel rolls, inverted passes, even rolling circles. The P-51D’s slow-speed behaviour is excellent too; it is a park flyer. If you want to spice up your park flying experience, the P-51D is a great way to go about it. Its semi-scale lines, aerobatic ability, and stable slow-flight stability make it about as well-rounded a park flyer as you could hope for.

The plane is powered by a 370 electric motor through a gearbox spinning a large propeller, this give long flight times and a flying speed that looks right.

The model is made from styrene foam this is amazing stuff - more brittle than the EPP foams but it allows much more detail to be moulded in - This all brings it to life yet in the event of a crash its easy to repair with either 5 min Araldite or PVA wood glue.

Included is high quality 4 ch radio control set with all the servos- Its a “real Rc set” and can be removed and reused in other models. The Model requires basic assembly which is easy.
